The Lounge Bar

With a roaring log fire in winter, and offering a cool shaded space in the summer. The lounge is an ideal place to relax and unwind, but don't be surprised if you find yourself in the middle of a room-wide conversation, this is a natural space for meeting old friends and making new ones. Many people enjoy the lounge as an informal dining space.
The lounge houses a selection of paintings by local artist Pat Evans from Tankerville Gallery and Pottery, which can be purchased here. There is a cabinet of hand crafted goodies (all made on the premises by Phil & Lara) in the corner, should you wish to purchase gifts and souvenirs. Check out our gifts & goodies here.

The newly designed and refurbished bar is a favourite space for wet walkers and hikers, to dry off by a roaring log burner, after walking the Stiperstones hills or the Shropshire Way. It is an even more relaxed area than the public lounge and has a television for occasional sports fixtures or events, and has gentle music playing throughout the day.
The Bar is ideal for drinks and light meals, many people choose to dine in this beautiful & informal space.
Dogs are welcome within the bar area, but on leads at all times and not on the furniture please.
